Tax attorney and wealth manager Megan Gorman explores the different personal money stories of the Presidents.

Eleanor Roosevelt wore this outfit during a February 12, 1962, meeting with President John F. Kennedy at the White House for the President’s Commission on the Status of Women. This dress and more are currently on display in the Behind the Scenes area of the Museum.
Orphaned young, Eleanor Roosevelt overcame tragedy to become a confident social activist, deeply influenced by her education in England. Marrying Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1905, she emerged as a political force, championing women's rights, social justice, and education while supporting her husband's career.
