Last year as part of its Signature Moments Special Exhibit, the FDR Library commissioned a short documentary about the letters of ordinary Americans to Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt during his time as President. This excerpt has been adapted to vertical format. The original film can be viewed in its entirety as part of our permanent collection in the museum.
Three foot tall models of the 1939-1940 New York World’s Fair Trylon and Perisphere like this one were placed on top of 49 vehicles (representing the 48 states plus Washington, DC) during a goodwill tour of the US. See this model on temporary display in the Museum's Behind the Scenes area until mid-September.
