Plans of Military Posts in the United States, 1840–1947

Record Group 77: Records of the Office of the Chief of Engineers

This series consists of maps and plans of military posts primarily in the western United States. Most of these plans were originally compiled by Army quartermasters at each post before the drawings were transferred to the custody of the Corps of Engineers. Included are detailed maps, architectural plans, elevations, sketches, diagrams, and views of buildings.

United States v. Charles Miller Manson

This case was brought by the United States of America against Charles Miller Manson for theft of mail and check forgery. Included in this file is an order appointing a psychiatrist, letters from Charles Miller Manson to Honorable Judge William C. Mathes, and appeal documents from the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

This series consists of submitted artifacts related to case files on sightings of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) of Project Blue Book, the U.S. Air Force (USAF) investigation into UFOs between June 1947 and December 1969.
